It all began over a hundred years ago with a legacy of tea planting that has now reached a fourth generation. Our tea estates stretch from the eternal Himalayas in Darjeeling to the fertile plains of Assam to cover the very best of Indian Teas. We proudly bring to your table a fine selection of teas grown in harmony with their environment along with the strong passion of the Prakash “Chaiwalla” family and the dedication of over two thousand tea picker families who call Glenburn and Khongea their home. A feast for all senses, our teas will transport you to a world of rich culinary experiences, which can be complemented with a stay at the Glenburn Boutique Hotel. As the fourth generation, Anshuman is proud to be continuing this family heritage and serving the very best teas India has to offer.

The speciality of Glenburn tea today is a flavour that has evolved through cross breeding of the best varieties of tea found in the Himalayas. It started with original China seed bushes and then the early planters brought out tea bushes from Assam, but what we’ve done in our Darjeeling Tea estate is to take the best of what we had a hundred years ago, and combine it with the best of today.
Glenburn’s tea is influenced by a wide spectrum of experiences from the type of soil and environment in which it grows to the time of year during which it is plucked. The tea gets its share of both sunshine and rain.
